Nick worked as an illustrator after leaving college, producing images for editorial, publishing and advertising. He then went on to work as a graphic designer for national companies Dorling Kindersley, Oxford University Press, BBC Worldwide and Time Out Magazine. He then went on to run a freelance design and media business.
Nick has also worked as a scriptwriter for television and radio. He has taught art, design and media in colleges and universities for over 20 years.

Chris began her career working as a Freelance designer of fabrics. For over 11 years she worked within the Carpet industry as a designer for Stoddard Carpets and later rose to become Retail Design Studio Manager for BMK Carpets in Scotland. This involved working for Retail and Contract Markets home and abroad.
Individual projects, range work design and product development have all been part of creating carpets for an extensive variety of Homes, Hotels, Airports, Casinos, Mosques, Offices, Banks etc, winning her several International Carpet Design Awards during her career.
Chris has worked with Stoddard’s sister company Sekers Fabrics which has resulted in collaborative range developments including the prestigious refurbishment of the Throne Room at Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh. She has been involved in Community work promoting traditional textile skills to young people and has over 10 years teaching experience within FE.

Kim has worked as a freelance pattern cutter and garment maker specialising in tailoring for the light entertainment industry and has created numerous costumes for the national touring theatre companies.
Kim’s teaching career began in Adult education where she delivered specialist courses in art, craft and textiles. She rose to become the lead Textiles tutor and moderator for the curriculum area.
Kim joined the Art and Design department in 2011 as a full time as a lecturer in Fashion and Visual Arts. She continues to work freelance creating bespoke wedding dresses and made to measure garments.

Christian is an interdisciplinary practitioner who specialises in Graphic novels and spatial illustration. He has done workshops for Central Saint Martins, Gl. Holtegaard Museum for modern and Contemporary Art and The Finnish Comic Society.
His comic and illustration work has been published by major Scandinavian publishing houses and feature in exhibitions in several European countries.
He has also worked at Henning Larsen Architects as a workshop manager and Base models in London as an architectural model builder.

Dennis is an experienced visual artist with over 12 years teaching experience. He has worked in creative roles including commercial designer, lithographic and letterpress printer, book designer, ceramicist, and has worked at the British Museum.
Dennis’ exhibition locations include Fresh Art London, Winchester, Taunton, etc.
Dennis is a keen artist, golfer and climber, and has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya.

Ellie has 12 years community based art teaching (multi-discipline). She has been involved in Team Building Therapeutic Art workshops.
Most of the work Ellie has produced on a personal and professional level has always been strongly linked with community involvement. The last exhibition Ellie was involved with was for LOVE 146 where she produced an installation responding to issues surrounding child sex -trafficking. This exhibition is now touring internationally.

Faye is an experienced practitioner in Visual Art with over a decade of experience of multiple discipline freelance work. She has a keen interest in Photography, Drawing and mixed media work.
Faye has 8 years teaching experience in the Uk & overseas, has exhibited in the UK and is currently working on a commission basis.

Guy has been a professional photographer since 2009 and travelled across the United Kingdom and the Globe. He describes himself as a multi-disciplined Photographer. Having started his career as a travel photographer, he confidently enjoys shooting a vast range of different styles.
Travelling regularly since the age of 23, Guy has worked photographing in Hawaii, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Panama and Mexico on a regular basis, which has allowed him to push his learned lessons even further. While travelling, he has submitted work to various Photo Agencies and Picture Desks.
It was a chance encounter with a prominent photographer that steered course for his now career and new found direction. Investing everything he had into equipment, resources and technology, he set out as a professional photographer. What made Guy work was his personality that had come from travelling the world, being able to talk to anyone on any level, and the quality of his work.
With a camera in the pocket of everyone with a mobile phone, what has to stand out is the quality if his work, and the attention to detail - something that soon caught the eye of companies up and down the UK.
At present Guy photographs for clients both established and new, and also teaches Photography technique to new learners and students in Workshops across the South Coast.

After graduating, Jane moved to the USA where she started her career as a junior designer working up to be an Associate Creative Director before setting up own design studio. After 8 years of fun and adventure in America, Jane returned to the UK and continued to run her own studio, delivering total communication solutions to an international client list. She currently splits her time working at The College and her professional practice.
Her experience ranges from all aspects of print design, corporate identity and packaging to exhibition and trade show design, brand strategy, project management and print production. Clients she has worked for include Orange, Lexus, The Countryside Agency, Elizabeth Arden, Trek Bicycles, Macy’s and Activision.
Jane has also founded and successfully launched in New York, 2 gift wrap and accessory companies, creating brands that offered design focused products to a world wide retail client base. Her work has been recognised with an American Advertising Design Excellence Award and an International Eco Award. It has also been published in: Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA, Print, Great Package Design.

Janice has been a teacher with Bournemouth & Poole College for 20 years, developing the BTEC Art & Design programmes within the department. Teaching across many areas because of her subject experience within Applied Art but now specialising in Fashion & Surface Textiles.
Prior to teaching she ran her own Studio for 8 years in North Wales specialising in Ecclesiastical, Secular and Domestic Traditional Stained Glass & 3D Warm Glass, completing restorations and New commissions; with work held both nationally and internationally before moving down to Dorset. Janice has exhibited work in Print, Fashion, textiles, 3D work and Glass across the country from Manchester, to Wales, Bristol and Dorset.

Josh started work at an arts venue in Cambridge designing posters and FOH for artists such as Blur, Ice-T, Paul Weller and Green Day as well as Club and Dance Flyers.
After managing the digital studio he moved into magazine design, mostly working on Gaming Magazines such as Planet PlayStation, PLAY, N64, PlayStation Solutions as well as DVD review and PC Easy.
Following this Josh went to work for Gold Group International where he worked on projects as diverse as Universal Studios and the BIC to Anne Summers as Senior Designer.
In 2001 he moved into teaching and was with Wiltshire College for over ten years whilst still working on various freelance projects and web designs.

Lucy is a recent graduate from the prestigious central school of speech and drama in north London where she studied prop making for theatre film and television, her studies at central include skills such as sculpture, mold making, carpentry, scenic art fibreglass casting and life casting. She has worked in theatre production professionally for 6 years.

Maxine has worked as an editorial magazine designer for the past twenty years. She began her career at the BBC as a designer on Radio Times and rose to be Art Director of Music publishing managing an extensive portfolio of magazine titles.
Maxine now combines a career in education with running her own freelance magazine design business.

Perri completed her Textiles degree in 2013 with a first class, she specialises in innovative surface design using technology for high-end fashion and interior textiles. She has a range of diverse skills from screen printing wallpapers, laser cutting perspex and designing digital prints using Photoshop. Her portfolio includes collections of wallpapers, fabrics and hard surfaces where tactile qualities are the main focus, encouraging exploration in tessellated, layered and three-dimensional design compositions.
Perri has worked in the fashion industry designing knitwear for a luxury cashmere label that distributes to large department stores including Fenwicks. She has also exhibited in exhibitions including New Designers.

Sarah is a specialist in a wide range of areas in Graphic Design, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver.
Sarah has undertaken work as assistant designer at Animal and an exhibition coordinator at the Kube gallery. She also runs her own signwriting design and print business, clients of which include UK Tech-Metal Fest and Euroblast Festival.
After leaving Bournemouth and Poole College with Distinction*** BTEC Extended Diploma in Graphic Design, Sarah attended AUB where she continued to build up an expansive skill-base which covers an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Adobe creative suite, fabric/surface pattern design and print, typography, photography, web design, digital and traditional screen-printing, illustration, advertising and branding.
